Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our community! By purchasing a class pass, booking a drop-in session, or stepping onto our training floor, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Membership & Passes

  • Pass Activation: All 4-class and 8-class passes activate on the date of your purchase.
  • Expiration Dates: To ensure community accountability and steady progress, class passes have a fixed validity period of 60 days from purchase date.
  • Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable: All single drop-in passes, 4-passes, and 8-passes are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person.
  • Pass Flexibility: Adult passes are fully interchangeable and can be used for either Gi or No-Gi adult classes listed on the current schedule.

2. Booking, Attendance and Cancellations

  • Advance Booking: Due to mat space safety limits, all students must book their class slot online prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy: If you cannot make it to a booked class, you must cancel your reservation at least 3 hours before class begins.
    • Cancellations made before the 3-hour window will have the class pass credited back to their account.
    • Late cancellations (0-3 hours) or "no-shows" will forfeit that class pass.
  • Punctuality: Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled class time. If you arrive late, you must wait at the edge of the mat until the coach determines it is safe for you to warm up and join the group.

3. Code of Conduct & Mat Hygiene

We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe, respectful, and family-friendly environment.

  • Safety First: Jiu-Jitsu requires mutual trust. Aggressive, reckless, or malicious behavior during drilling or live sparring will result in immediate removal from the class and potential termination of your pass without a refund.
  • Hygiene Mandate: Freshly laundered training attire is required for every single session. Fingernails and toenails must be kept short and clean.
  • Footwear Rule: Absolutely no shoes are permitted on the mats. Conversely, sandals or slippers must be worn anytime you step off the mats, especially in the restrooms.

4. Physical Readiness & Medical Condition

  • Assumption of Risk: Martial arts and submission grappling involve strenuous physical exertion and inherent risks of physical injury. By training with us, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
  • Skin Health: For the protection of the community, students with open wounds, active skin infections, or contagious rashes will not be allowed on the mats.
  • Medical Clearance: It is your responsibility to ensure you (or your child) are physically fit to participate. If you have underlying medical conditions or injuries, please inform the head coach before class begins.

5. Kids Program Policies (Ages 6-16)

  • Drop-off & Pick-up: Parents or guardians must ensure their children are dropped off no earlier than 15 minutes before class and picked up promptly when class concludes.
  • Mat Boundaries: For safety and focus, parents and spectators must remain in the designated seating area and refrain from coaching their children from the sidelines.

6. Changes to Schedule & Pricing

The company reserves the right to make changes to the timetable, class formats, and pricing structures. Active pass holders will be notified of any major schedule adjustments well in advance via email or our official communication channels.

Return and cancellation Policy

1. Single. Drop-In Passes

  • Non-Refundable: Single-session drop-in passes ($50) are non-refundable once purchased.
  • Rescheduling: If your plans change unexpectedly, you can reschedule your drop-in session to a different date via your online account dashboard or contact us to reschedule, provided the change is made at least 3 hours before the originally booked class.
  • No-Show: Late cancellations (between 0-3 hours) or failing to show up (no-shows) will forfeit the session with no refund or re-booking allowed.
  • The Upgrade Exception: If you attend your drop-in session and choose to upgrade to a 4-class or 8-class pass on the exact same day, your $50 drop-in fee is non-refundable but will be fully credited toward the cost of your new pass bundle.

2. Multi-Class Pass (4-credit & 8-credit packages)

  • Standard Policy: All 4-class and 8-class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.
  • 60-Day Expiry: Every package carries a strict 60-day validity window from the purchase date. Any class passes not utilized within these 60 days will automatically expire and forfeit.
  • Unused Passes: Upon reaching the 60-day mark, any remaining unused class passes will not roll over into a new package, nor can they be converted into store credit or cash. All expired passes are permanently forfeited and strictly non-refundable.
  • No-Show: Late cancellations (between 0-3 hours) or failing to show up (no-shows) will forfeit the session with no refund or re-booking allowed.

3. Medical Emergency & Freezes / Extensions

  • Major Medical Emergencies: If you or your child sustain a severe injury or medical condition that completely halts training (e.g., fractures, surgeries), we will freeze the remaining balance of your pass. This requires written notification at the time of the injury paired with a formal doctor's note or medical certificate. We cannot retroactively freeze or extend passes that have already expired.
  • Mandatory National Service (NS) Reservist Duties: For our adult practitioners, a pass freeze will be granted if you are called up for mandatory In-Camp Training (ICT) or high-key reservist operations lasting more than 5 consecutive days. You must provide a copy of your official SAF/SPF/SCDF notification before your service period begins, and your pass will be frozen for the exact duration of your deployment.
  • Strict Expiration Extensions: To ensure fairness and maintain operational consistency, we do not grant pass extensions for personal scheduling conflicts, travel, or illnesses. We only extend package validity windows in the event of company-initiated emergencies or club-enforced mat closures (such as facility maintenance, unexpected coach unavailability, or mandatory venue disruptions).

4. Class Cancellations & No-shows

To keep our class sizes safe and ensure everyone gets ample mat space, we enforce a standard booking window:

  • Early Cancellations (More than 3 Hours Notice): If you cancel your booking at least 3 hours before class begins, your pass is returned to your account. Note: We highly encourage canceling at least 12 hours in advance as a courtesy to training partners on the waitlist.
  • Late Cancellations (Under 3 Hours Notice) & No-Shows: Canceling less than 3 hours before class, or failing to show up, results in the automatic forfeiture of that class pass.

5. Club-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that the club must cancel a scheduled class due to coach illness, facility maintenance, or severe weather:

  • No passes will be deducted from your account and rescheduling will be allowed.
  • If you booked using a single drop-in pass, we will automatically credit your account or issue a full refund for that specific session. Because mat space is limited and class passes are priced to encourage regular training, we operate under a structured refund and cancellation policy. Please review our guidelines  before purchasing a pass or booking a class.
